CAREER OBJECTIVES
To be a versatile procurement and supply chain professional capable of providing support to
wholesome visualization, evaluation, design and implementation of initiatives and systems that
steer supply chain efficiency which is imperative towards the realization of an organization’s set
goals hence leading to attainment of competitive advantage.
PROFFESIONAL SUMMARY
I hold a Bachelor of Business Administration in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management from
St. Paul’s University, Limuru Kenya. I also hold a diploma in Business Management from
Mount Kenya University. I am great with people, a problem solver who gets things done
effectively with a key emphasis on attainment of key objectives in each task I am involved in.
I have the experience and skills of streamlining the procurement process so that the function is
responsive to business needs in any organization. This is through observing lean manufacturing
and just in time procurement and logistics. I have interacted with various systems such as
Systems Applications and Products (SAP) where it was possible to expedite the procurement
process and this was imperative towards the creation of a win-win situation between an
organization and key suppliers and minimization of unnecessary costs.
I am currently on a six months internship in administration at the United Nations Office in
Nairobi (UNON) at the facilities management and transport section. I am acquiring valuable
experience in logistics and management of key outsourced services so that employees are able to
work in enabling environment that encourages diversity and team work.

Duties and Responsibilities
Assisting in recording and processing staff bus passes
Calculating and comparing costs for required goods or services so as to achieve
maximum value for money.
Checking that agreed work by staff or contractors has been completed satisfactorily and
following up on any deficiencies.
Contract management with contractors offering outsourced services
Processing invoices of third party logistics firms.
Performing any other duties as delegated by the logistics assistant.

Supplier selection and evaluation according to the Public Procurement and Disposal Act
(2005).
Collaboration with user departments so that essential inventory is available in Ruaraka
Depot which was essential for effective company logistics.
Determining the mode of procurement to be used when sourcing essential inventory at
Ruaraka Depot.
