This document summarizes research from online questionnaires with students and interviews with parents on student and parent status, parent involvement, and perceptions of parent involvement. The research included 33 student respondents, 17 parent respondents, and found that most students (78.8%) felt parents were involved in their academic lives. Similarly, interviews found that most parents (95%) felt they were involved and their involvement was helpful for their children's academic achievement.
