2. Front cover:
How does this compare to my
prelim? My front cover prelim was
very basic and wasn't in magazine
format. This was because I didn't
have the software available to
make it look more realistic. The
photos didn't look as sharp as the
final photos. Using in design
made my final magazine cover
look better as I was able to add
layers and overlap writing this
gave it a more complex look. I
also hadn't included crucial
things such as a barcode, price
and the issue number. Therefore
on my final front cover I used the
simple things such as a barcode
to make it look more realistic.
3. more features and more
information which helps the
contents page to look like it
should. It also includes a editors
comment and more pictures that
are relevant to the article. It is
also more clearer and easy to
know what to look for. It also
includes social media which my
prelim didn't as it was very basic
and didn't look as professional.
This was because I was only able
to use PowerPoint. My skills
developed and I was able to use
Photoshop and indesign which
gave the final magazine a better
finish. However it still could be
improved as it may have too
much writing on and could have
more graphics to show what is
being featured in the magazine.
The different fonts used and
colours made the page numbers
stand out and the lettering used is
bold and makes the artist names
stand out.
