OBJECTIVE
To obtain employment with the Strata Solar organization as Site Superintendent and utilize
prior leadership and management experience to oversee, coordinate, and complete solar site
projects.
EXPERIENCE
US Army 09/1991 – 08/2015
 Strategic planner and trusted advisor to upper level leadership; utilized advisory knowledge
for master plans in major programs and projects; created, implemented, and evaluated the
required support plans for project functionality and success
 Leader in the planning process
 Identified resources, examined cost analysis, and integrated the results of both
resources and cost into final project proposals
 Fundamental in saving the U.S. government 1.5 million dollars by identifying
redundant charges and over-inflated contracts
 Site operation manager challenged with ensuring and improving work force productivity in
excess of 700 personnel, as well as the efficiency of organizational operations; assuring
instructions on safety compliance and measures were enforced under EPA and OSHA
guidelines; operations management included work force process and improvements,
organizational structures, utilization of human resources, and supervisor evaluations of
employees
 Conducted site surveys to ensure policy and procedures were being implemented;
promoted safety in morning briefings
 Wrote new policies and guidelines based on the restructuring of personnel job
criteria with adequate training
 Negotiated with vendors to provide personnel with proper equipment; supervised
detailed record keeping that all equipment issued to personnel was accounted for
and received scheduled maintenance
 Logistics project director recruiting contract workers, acquisition of equipment, and
management of 5 million dollars in military projects in both the U.S. and abroad;
organizational manager establishing military base operations
 Obtained local contracts to purchase communications, security, water, sewer,
electricity, and housing equipment for both government and local population
 Member of the Provisional Reconstruction Team in Afghanistan to rebuild schools,
roads, water wells, buildings, and irrigation projects

 During deployment, established 6 military operation bases before scheduled timeline
and under proposed budget
 Inspector General conducting safety inspections and ensuring employees were in
compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines; revised policies regarding welfare of
personnel, investigations of disputes, and intelligence oversight
 Conducted investigations on issues such as whistle blowers, ethical events,
regulation violations
 Rapidly deployed to Haiti after the earthquake (01/2010) in support of one of the
most aggressive humanitarian/disaster relief operations in recent history
 Main goal was assurance of safety of all personnel, especially during deployment
 Team builder in creating formal/informal counseling programs; initiated cross-training as
well as on-the-job training programs; worked with various ranking military personnel to
foster team building and unity; encouraged ideas that could aid in transforming workforce
morale
 Ensured the proper training of more than 600 employees with yearly evaluations that
aids in improving communication and job performance
 Involved in social programs such as Family Day, sporting events, monthly team-
building meetings
