EXPERIENCE
US Army 09/1991 – 08/2015
Strategic planner and trusted advisor to upper level leadership; utilized advisory knowledge
for master plans in major programs and projects; created, implemented, and evaluated the
required support plans for project functionality and success

resources and cost into final project proposals
Fundamental in saving the U.S. government 1.5 million dollars by identifying
redundant charges and over-inflated contracts
Site operation manager challenged with ensuring and improving work force productivity in
excess of 700 personnel, as well as the efficiency of organizational operations; assuring
instructions on safety compliance and measures were enforced under EPA and OSHA
guidelines; operations management included work force process and improvements,
organizational structures, utilization of human resources, and supervisor evaluations of

Wrote new policies and guidelines based on the restructuring of personnel job

During deployment, established 6 military operation bases before scheduled timeline
and under proposed budget
Inspector General conducting safety inspections and ensuring employees were in
compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines; revised policies regarding welfare of
personnel, investigations of disputes, and intelligence oversight
Conducted investigations on issues such as whistle blowers, ethical events,
regulation violations
Rapidly deployed to Haiti after the earthquake (01/2010) in support of one of the
most aggressive humanitarian/disaster relief operations in recent history
Main goal was assurance of safety of all personnel, especially during deployment
Team builder in creating formal/informal counseling programs; initiated cross-training as
well as on-the-job training programs; worked with various ranking military personnel to
foster team building and unity; encouraged ideas that could aid in transforming workforce
