Vegetarianism
Feminist arguments on sexual politics By: Ian Abenojar
Feminist arguments on sexual politics Women strongly go by the fact that “You are what you eat.” Men would most likely eat meat because of the different types of diets that go with their daily life style. Meat is "the food of men," because they consume more meat and they need more meat which considering it gives good blood and vitality. when taken in too large quantities for instance, over-eating meat 'poisons the blood,' causes over-excitement, brings out pimples and so on, and may therefore encourage a type of disgust towards women."
Feminist arguments on sexual politics By connecting the oppression of women to the oppression of animals, we can then see the connection between the slaughter of animals and violence against women. PETA uses this connection to further their cause at the expense of women. The difference between men and women is like that between animals and plants," as "men correspond to animals, while women correspond to plants because their development is more placid The "Superior" sex requires and consumes more flesh in his diet than does the “Inferior” sex which can live on inferior foods which is, on grains, vegetables, and fruits.
Feminist arguments on sexual politics U.S. slaughter of 700,000 animals each HOUR and 11,500 each MINUTE for human consumption. Feminist try to relate that to men being violent towards women. Meat, which is considered to be the outstanding nutritious food, the food of strength and strengthening, granting vitality, blood and health-is the food of men, who eat it twice, while the women suffice with a small portion.

Lacto-Ovo Vegetarian By: Robby Engeldinger
Lacto-Ovo Vegetarian A diet that includes: dairy products eggs vegetables Grains legumes fruits Nuts excludes flesh and seafood
Lacto-Ovo Vegetarian Fruits and vegetables are mostly cheaper than meat. According to World Cancer Research Fund, following a vegetarian diet reduces the risk of cancer. According to some experts, vegetarians and vegans may live 10 years longer than meat-eaters. Many doctors claim that vegetarians are 50 percent less likely to develop heart problems. Vegetarians develop strong immunity in them.
Lacto-Ovo vegetarian Vegetarian diets have a good proportion of three macronutrients that are needed for maintaining good health. These include carbohydrates, proteins and fats. Vegetables and fruits are good sources of micronutrients. Green leafy vegetables have ample supply of calcium. A vegetarian diet helps maintain perfect weight. Chances of becoming overweight are very less, if you follow a plant-based diet.
Lacto-Ovo vegetarian A lower risk of heart disease occurs Defense against obesity Defense against cancers such as Colon cancer Breast cancer Stomach cancer
Lacto-Ovo vegetarian rich in fiber, folate and vitamin C. Vegetables and fruits provide vitamins and minerals that are essential for a healthy body. Beans, tofu, seeds are some good sources of proteins. Vegetables consist of phytochemicals, which prevent some chronic diseases. Green leafy vegetables are the rich source of antioxidants. Vegetables and fruits also provide natural sugars, beneficial enzymes and trace elements. Also dairy products are high in calcium and Iron and zinc. Nevertheless, eggs can give you a great source of protein that are essential for the body.
Lacto-Ovo vegetarian In studies, vegetarian diets were proven to not be able to provide the amount of B-12 that the body needs but with a Lacto-Ovo Vegetarian diet you can get a great source of protein from your dairy products and eggs. Also you can receive B-12 which is good for the body through these dairy products.
Lacto-Ovo vegetarian Also a big pitfall that a vegetarian diet crosses is that it is not beneficial in the development of children. Likewise, children eating well planned vegetarian diets that include eggs, milk, and milk products also receive adequate nutrients and grow as well as their meat eating peers. So basically having a Lacto-Ovo Vegetarian diet is just as good for someone that is growing and even for people that are fully grown.
Lacto-Ovo vegetarian Some ethically motivated lacto-ovo vegetarians may avoid fertilized eggs as well as caviar believing that both involve animal death. They may also avoid cheese that contains rennet and products that contain gelatin as these are animal products. So therefore some Lacto-ovo vegetarians are also looking out for animal cruelty and processed goods.
Lacto-ovo vegetarian In the Western worldlacto-ovo vegetarians are the most common type of vegetarian. Generally speaking, when one uses the term vegetarian a lacto-ovo vegetarian is assumed. Lacto-ovo vegetarians are often well-catered to in restaurants and shops, especially in Europe and metropolitan cities in North America. In the airline industry a lacto-ovo vegetarian meal is known by the acronym VLML (for Vegetarian, Lacto-ovoMeaL).

Vegetarianism and Religion By: Estella Pino
Vegetarianism, Religion & Spirituality Ancient India religions like Hinduism, and Buddhism practice vegetarianism.
Hinduism Hinduism is one the oldest religions. Hinduism is a way of life and not a religion. There are 4 reasons why Hindus don’t eat meat. Law of noninjury -The first duty of religious obligation God and God’s creations. 2. Karmic consequences -The concept of action and deed 3. The Spiritual Reason -We are what we eat. 4. Planet Earth Suffering -Hindus also restrain from eating meat because of the worlds situations on animal extinction, world hunger, and the destruction forests.
Hinduism “Hence is the fault in eating flesh... That man who abstains from meat, is never put in fear… All creatures seek his protection. He is an object of confidence with all creatures. He never causes any anxiety in others, and himself has never to become anxious. If there were nobody who ate flesh there would then be nobody to kill living creatures. The man who kills living creatures kill them for the sake of the person who eats flesh. If flesh were regarded as inedible, there would then be no slaughter of living creatures. It is for the sake of the eater that the slaughter of living creatures goes on in the world. Since, O thou of great splendour, the period of life is shortened of persons who slaughter living creatures or cause them to be slaughtered, it is clear that the person who wishes his own good should give up meat entirely.” (Mahabharata 13.115)
Hatha Yoga Hatha Yoga was introduced by Yoga Swatmarama in the 15th century Vegetarianism is mandatory for people who practice Hatha Yoga. They follow the Bhagavad Gita and believe to only eat the highest quality of food. The Bhagavad Gita explains that meat makes people lazy and ignorant while a vegetarian diet makes people think clearly and keep a balanced state of mind.
What do Hindus Eat? A Hindu follow a Sattva diet A savatta diet doesn’t consist fish, meat, onions, garlic, strong spices and some fruit. Hindu diets consist of flatbreads, yogurt, and spice vegetarian sauces.
Buddhism
Buddhism There are two main streams of Buddhism.	-Mahayana Buddhism (believe in Vegetarianism) - Theravada Buddhism (don’t really believe in Vegetarianism) Buddha was not vegetarian and is said that he allowed his monks to eat meat if the animal wasn’t killed just to feed the monks.
What do Buddhist Eat? Buddhist restrain from eating meat and fish, alcohol, onions, garlic, sallions, chives, leeks and root vegetables like potatoes. Buddhist dishes consist of vegetables, seaweeds, beans, nuts and a lot of grains.

The Cons of Environmental Harm of Vegetarianism By: Ian Burns
Vegetarianism and Deficiencies Vegetarianism causes diseases due to lack or to much of B12 intake. vegetarians who don't not supplement their diets with vitamin B12 tend to have elevated homocysteine. elevated homocysteine is probably a cause of early mortality heart disease, strokes and recurrent pregnancy loss. Even thought people seem to live longer as vegetarians then meat eaters, vegetarians and which lacks B12 intake allows homocysteine more time to do its damage in the body.
Does having a veggie diet mean a person is healthy no, a person can still consume a lot of junk food and still not consume meet. Vegetarians are more likely going to have to consume more food, because of the low intake of nutrients and minerals that they consume while eating. Being a veggie eater can still cause the rate of obesity to go up due to the amount of food the vegetarian can consume at a time. It is harder for a vegetarian to understand how protein that person needs in their diets. Vegetarians have to consume a lot of supplements just to reach their goal of nutrient intake.
What nutrients do Vegetarians lack the most? Calcium Iron Protein Zinc vitamin B12
