4. Reflection
◦ Even though my first draft for these projects were good and they wasn’t anything majorly bad
with them I knew that there was some improvements to make therefore I got some peer
feedback on the to work out what I should work on and what needed improving to make it
more aesthetically pleasing and make everything work better. The feedback definitely helped
and helped me realize what was good and what could do with a bit of a change. Therefore when
I got all the first drafts done and enough feedback I started making the changes recommended
to appeal to an audience and make them a little better. I ended up changing them a lot and I
found that actually taking critisizm can definitely help and make it easier to see what looks good
and what needs improving with a fresh pair of eyes.
8. Feedback Afterwards
◦ I personally think that my second piece of work
was lot better and from the feedback I got within
the surveys it seemed like a lot of people agreed.
This is because after the first feedback I got it was
very adamant to improve the things which needed
improving but the small improvements turned into
a lot bigger changes such as the background
change turned into a complete change of colour
schemes and fonts. I think the first set of
everything I did was fine but I do think it was
slightly bland and was not half as eye catching as
the second one. I think the improvements
definitely. However people did have different
opinions to me such as this piece of feedback
which said thy preffered the first piece of work.
Therefore this shows that none of the pieces of
work were bad but a lot of people just preferred
one over the other one.
10. Front covers
First Second
I personally prefer the second one I think it
is a lot more interesting with the
background and the colour scheme. I think
the whole idea of it looks a lot more
professional and will appeal to a wider
audience. I think the green and the purple
contrasting make he whole thing more eye
catching and just looks a lot better. The first
one looks a little bland and boring and a lot
less interesting but the colour scheme did
work better with the general make up look it
still looked slightly too bland.
11. Websites
First Second
I really prefer the second
version as it has more
original images within the
website and looks a lot more
professional and personal
within my own photos. I
think the colour scheme
mixes in within everything
else and it links everything
together really well so it
shows a clear link between
everything.
12. Double Page Spreads

I think there are positives within both
of these double pages I’m not sure
which one I prefer As the first one has
more going on in general where as
the second has more negative space
but looks more professional as the
pictures are a lot less boxy and the
layout is nicer I just wish I had
something to fill the negative space
within the second one.
