2. I'm Em Thomas and I'm from Florida, but that's not who I am. To
understand who I am, I think it's best to look at where I came from. I grew
up in the middle of nowhere but where I started to get involved in trends
was going and seeing live shows. I saw a very weird mix of things. I was
going to underground punk shows and theater productions of classic
musicals. These both lead me to different things. The punk shows lead me
to a more alternative subculture, then the theater leads me to cinema, and
makeup. But now I am someone who is very involved in current trends of
music, fashion and film. What I do in my free time is to research current
trends whether that be going to up and coming shows from underground
bands, seeing the latest movies, or researching current trend cycles and
trying to predict the next big thing.

•Outreach Plan: One task I will complete to prepare for this initial
