District Manager
• Exceed budgetary goals each year. In fiscal 2014, I was 104% of plan and
achieved 27 BEST EVERs in revenue, labor control and ebidta in my Northern
Virginia team. Fiscal 2015 exceeded EBIDTA of 2014 by 2.5%
• I have implemented and achieved a twenty nine million dollar revenue budget
and a ten million dollar profitability budget. I have effectively managed as many
as 48 childcare centers for a period of eighteen months and made huge strides in
those markets in educational quality. All four of the teams which made up the 48
schools achieved their annual budgetary plans.
• Consistently earn highest customer service quality survey ratings. I have effective
and dynamic communication with more than 600 employees. 2014-2016 had the
region’s lowest staff attrition.
• Developed an internal training program for teachers to achieve Maryland State
Certification. I have achieved the accreditation by NAEYC of 32 schools.
• My area maintained the company number one occupancy ranking for twelve
years. My area was the number one profitability area each year. My area was
number one in ancillary revenue since the implementation of Hooked on Phonics
programming .I successfully opened 11 centers in my own areas with the
strongest openings in the history of the company and assisted in the opening of
numerous centers in New Jersey, Ohio, Michigan, and New York
• I have turned around problem markets and raised occupancy by as much as 15%. I
have improved quality and professionalism in every market I have taken. I have
developed seven new district managers who were my center directors. I have
assisted in the development of countless varied-level managers from within my

2. 2005-2007 Director of New Center Operations
Partnered with the real estate division of our company on site locations, hired school
leadership and worked with the process of new center opening throughout the United
States from ground breaking to successful opening, averaging 20 new openings a year.
This work involved direct supervision of District Managers and corporate trainers, as
well as site employees through the process, and after opening. I also did follow-up visit
and connection leadership with the schools during their first two years of operation.
Schools from the follow-up project grew in enrollment an average of 15% beyond
projections. New schools in multiple markets opened with full capacity registrations.

• In addition to my district management duties in my own market, I traveled for and
directly reported to the Divisional Vice President as a liaison to critical markets,
did center and management assessments and implemented change so that quality
and enrollment would thereby increase
• Assessed other district managers and implemented development plans for them
• Worked with new center marketing and enrollment in numerous states and also
did the same with acquisition centers
• Raised enrollment 10% in any group of centers with which I have worked.
