WHO support to EPI in flood affected districts
 EOA conducted during August, September, October, November and December in all flood affected districts
 10-days Measles- Rubella (MR) and Typhoid response conducted in 6 flood affected districts during October
 Contract of 9 District Disease Surveillance Officers & 11 Data Analyst extended for next months
 Contracts of District Monitors hired for TCV campaign in flood affected districts are extended till March 2023
 OCV campaign in 8 districts, 37 UCs with 90% coverage
 Refurbishment in ____________ health facilities is completed while refurbishment is in progress in ______ HFs
 22 Vaccinators and 32 motorbikes provided to Lasbella, Kech and Pishin
 9 measles outbreaks responded in flood affected districts
Way forward
• Three phases of EOAs are planned till June 2023
• Refurbishment will be completed in all planned health facilities including 5 HFs of
district Pishin
• MOV research data collection is completed while DQS is under progress

WHO Support to EPI Balochistan, 2023
Activities Description
Integrated outreach activities (IOA/EOA) 1st phase of 2023 is in progress
Surveillance i. Two sites for typhoid and one site for Rota surveillance
ii. Technical support for regular surveillance activities
Birth dose vaccination 24/7 15 sites in 11 districts through 42 female vaccinators
Vaccinators support for routine
immunization
About 165 vaccinators for outreach & fixed sites
Vaccinators for COVID0-19 vaccine rollout 170 vaccinators (under process of re-recruitment)
Refurbishment of HFs i. Refurbishment in 142 out of 145 HFs is completed
ii. 10 out of 11 HFs of Lasbella have been refurbished
iii. 13 EPI Sites of Nasirabad Div have been refurbished
CVC at Chaman Structure and 16 HR support. COVID-19 vaccination is going on
Solarization At Provincial EPI office
Motorbikes 15 motor bikes to Lasbella, 10 to Pishin and 7 to Kech
IT Equipment for M&E i. 4 desktops and 2 laptops for EPI HQ M&E cell (with furniture)
ii. 4 desktops and 4 laptops for Pishin
iii. 2 desktops to district Lasbella
QRM i. 4th QRM for 2022 was supported during last of January 2023.
ii. DHOs and DDHOs participated in this meeting as well as
partners staff
MOV data collection and DQS i. Data collection for MOV is completed in 32 districts by DOs
ii. DQS is started in different districts by Dos
TCV introduction training i. About 1900 vaccinators were trained on introduction of TCV in
