Ongoing Response:
• Health response through the integrated medical camps and
other activities are continued in affected districts.
• Nutrition and WASH Working Groups are activated and service
provision to severely affected districts with the support of
partners already in progress.
Needs:
• Immediate assessment of the health services impacted,
identification of key priority areas requiring a response,
including for the delivery of routine and emergency health
services.
• Increased need for essential medicines, equipment to set up
emergency triage, medical tents, LLINs, folding beds,
facemasks, and hand sanitizers.
• Mitigation measures for expected outbreaks of
communicable/infectious diseases in the affected areas and
camp setups.
• Coordination with the WASH and Nutrition working groups.
• Mental health and psychosocial support for mitigating the
impact of losses including human lives, livestock, agriculture,
property, and livelihoods.
• Health status monitoring for Acute Watery Diarrhea (AWD),
Cholera, measles, and other communicable diseases.
• Outreach and facility-based medical services, including
maternal, neonatal, and child health (MNCH), immunization,
nutrition, and WASH services.
