THE PINK WALK IS A WALK AND RUN ALL
AROUND NEW ZEALAND. IT RAISES AWARENESS
ABOUT BREAST CANCER.ALL THE MONEY
RASIED GO’S TO BREAST CANCER RESEARH.MY
MUM AND SARAH LAMONT THE OTHER LADY IN
THE PHOTO BOTH HAD BREAST
CANCER.EVERYONE DRESSES UP IN PINK EVEN
OSCAR MY DOG DID!!!!
ONE MORE THING: WE RAISED MONEY :
$1445. WE CAME 8TH OUT OF AUCKLAND AND
17TH OUT OF THE WHOLE OF NEW
ZEALAND!!!!

3. What is Breast
Cancer?
Breast Cancer is a type of cancer that women and very
rarely men can get it too. Breast cancer is a tumour that
sometimes spreads to other parts of the body and
sometimes doesn’t spread anywhere.
DID YOU KNOW???
1.Breast Cancer is the most common cancer for New
Zealand women and 3000 women a year get it!! There
are lots of different types of breast cancer as well.
When mum got Breast Cancer the Doctors chopped off her
boob and gave a new one off her tummy. Mum even has a
new belly button! Some people just get the lump cut out
instead and don’t have to have their boob chopped off.
It’s different for everyone mum says.
