- Stay out of the type of sin. Was probably thinking about going to Egypt. Gerar was his first stop. Remain in God’s will Isaac had heard about the promises of God. Now he experiences an encounter with God personally. Raise your kids to be able to hear from God themselves.
- Genesis 26:3–4 Sojourn in this land, and I will be with you and will bless you, for to you and to your offspring I will give all these lands, and I will establish the oath that I swore to

If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will forsake you. Bless you- following God’s direction leads to a blessed life

It does not say, “And to offsprings,” referring to many, but referring to one, “And to your offspring,” who is Christ.

- I am afraid- fear of the unknown. How do you prepare ? 1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love. Confrontation- bully, controller, situation 1 Peter 4:12 Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. I’ll lie consequence. Decisions made from a point of fear are seldom good. 2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you fail to meet the test!
