Don’t know
where to start?
● Sign up for an account and fill out your profile.
● Commit to using Twitter a little each day. Put it on
your calendar for 15 minutes! Put the app on your
phone and use it when you are waiting for something.
● Search for & follow people & organizations you
already know and trust.
● Learn about the language of Twitter.
● Search for topics and hashtags that are interesting to
you. Note the Tweeps who use those hashtags and
consider following them.
● Lurk for a bit to get acclimated.
● Retweet others and start Tweeting your own thoughts
and ideas and questions. Use hashtags if possible!
