Ernie Sanchez Enad
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Ernie Sanchez Enad, ACFE, serves as the Chief Financial
Officer at Harlem Congregations for Community
Improvement, Inc (HCCI). He is a Certified Public
Accountant (CPA) in the Philippines and previously worked at
SGV and Company (Global partner of Ernst & Young) as a
Senior Audit Associate. In his tenure at SGV and Co., he was
exposed to the hospitality, real estate, manufacturing, and
financial industries. Underscoring his audit experienced was
his appointment as Regional Audit Supervisor for the United
States Agency for International Development (USAID) where
he reported directly to the United Nations Audit Director.
Mr. Enad left SGV and Co., to join in one of the biggest conglomerate companies in the
Philippines, VICSAL Development Corporation, as the COO/General Manager of the subsidiary,
Prime Asia, Inc. During his time at Prime Asia, Enad helped the company, become the first and
only in Asia to achieve an ISO-9001 Certification in its Industry. As a result, Prime Asia became
the most prolific subsidiary of VICSAL Development Corporation, growing its worth from $10
million to $500 million.
He migrated to the United States in 2007 and served a short stint as a Senior Audit Associate at
DVV and Company in Elmhurst, NY and later joined TCBA Watson Rice, LLP (a member
partner of McGladrey Group) as a Senior Audit Consultant from 2008 to 2011 where he gained
experience working with nonprofits that received funding from city, state and federal agencies.
He was also commissioned by TCBA to occassionally sit as an interim Assistant Controller for
clients such as Union Settlement Association (USA), Abyssinian Baptist Church and others.
Mr. Enad serves as a faculty member at New Institute of English and Business (NYIEB). His
former experience also includes serving as Director of Business Development at VALUECARE,
Inc, in Hempstead, NY; Group Financial Controller at a high end Jewelry company in New
York, and Senior Accountant at Steve Madden, LTD..
Enad graduated from University of San Jose Recoletos ( USJ-R), Cebu, Philippines with a
Bachelor of Science in Commerce, and majored in Accounting. He graduated with Cum Laude
honors, and was chosen as One of the Most Outstanding Graduates from his Class. He also
finished his Executive Education from Asian Institute of Management (AIM) with concentration
in Professional Management Development Course in 1995 and Marketing Management in 1998.
He was also awarded as an Outstanding CPA in the Philippines for the years 1995 and 1997 by
Golden Achievement Awards and Family Christian Circle Awards respectively.
Mr. Enad’s professional alliances include membership in The National Council of Philippine
American Canadian Accountant (NCPACA) and the Association of Filipino American
Accountants in New York (AFAA). He become an associate member of Association of Certified
Forensic and Fraud Examiner (ACFE ) in 2014.
