Incident Description: A fire incident was reported at one of the temporary unauthorized structures being used for storage of daily consumables, a foreman’s room and a concrete lab. As per the Initial Investigations, the fire seems to have started at temporary store during break hours, and the probable cause (at the moment) was possibly due to a short circuit which spread to adjacent cabins.

 All structuresonsite mustbe approvedforFLS before use or occupationincludinganystorage
cabinsand temporaryhutsor structuresincludinggate-houses.
 Onlyauthorizedcabinsthathave beendesignedtomeet,andhave beenverifiedas meeting,
all fire preventionandfirefightingrequirementsshouldbe builtatsite.
 Combustiblematerial managementplansshall be implementedatall site areasincluding
temporarystructures.
 Subcontractorsmustget writtenapproval fromPD,withsigned –off drawings,forany
proposedtemporarystructures.
 HSE MUSTCONDUCTREGULARFIRE INSEPCTIONSFORALLTEMPORAYSTRUCTURESEVEN IF
APPROVED.
