 Initially hired in December of 2010 as a Project Engineer for a startup company which processes
natural gas wastewater into a clean brine product for reuse by the natural gas industry. Later
promoted to Plant Engineering Manager in March of 2015 to aid in the design, construction and
operations of a new plant which required relocation.
 Expanded role from lab manager to plant co-manager.
 Entrusted with a larger role in plant design than previous plants.
 Assisted in overall layout of the plant utilizing past experiences at the previous two plants.
 Structured process piping configuration to improve performance and reduce costs.
 Calculated optimal pump sizes and locations.
 Researched and purchased a wide variety of tools and equipment for plant operations.
 Co-authored the PA Department of Environmental Protection permit application for the plant;
including bonding, Radiation Action Protection Plans, PPC, EHS, and process diagrams.
 Created daily logs, SOPs and troubleshooting guides for all plant positions.
 Co-managed hiring and training of 17 employees.
 Sourcing, evaluating, interviewing and placement.
 Manage all plant positions - office personnel, plant operators, maintenance workers, and
wheel loader operators.

 Supervising the QA/QC program to ensure water quality.
 Managing the throughput – including truck traffic, mud and water processing.
 Resolving IT issues such as malfunctioning computers, printers, phones, HMI changes.

 Worked with vendors to streamline the supply chain and lower costs.
 Found local supplier capable of same day delivery.
 Reduced polymer costs by 46%.
 Conducting variety of tests on samples of inbound material prior to its acceptance to prevent
downstream issues within the plant.
 Interacting with customers to resolve treatment desires and issues.
 Ensuring the waste stream meets landfill acceptance requirements.
 On-call 24/7 to answer and resolve operation or treatment issues.

Project Engineer – December 2010 – March 2015
 Hired as first employee and sole engineer.
 Worked closely with the original owner of the company to develop a process to treat natural gas
wastewater into clean brine for reuse as a product.
 Maintained client requested water specifications using QA/QC procedures.
 Researched and purchased necessary lab equipment to perform analytical tests, as well as R&D, for
specific elements/parameters; equipment varied from basic items (magnetic stir bars) to high end
items (Inductively Coupled Plasma machine).
 Created Excel sheets that all plants use to operate.
 Plant process set points.
 QA/QC calculations and logs.
 Chemical inventory and usage.
 Trained lab operators (non-college degree employees) one-on-one and created SOPs for their use.
 Operated continuous and batch treatment tanks, 5,100 square foot filter presses, and a centrifuge.
