Challenge
A multinational financial services
giant, under increasing regulatory
scrutiny over client privacy and
internal controls and fearing failure
of another audit, committed to
modernizing the firm’s complex
Corporate & Investment Bank’s
Identity and Access Management
(CIB IAM) environment.
A comprehensive global access
management program was
designed with the primary
objectives of:
• Ensuring all compliance and
regulatory controls are met
• Assuring logical access risks to
Corporate & Investment Bank’s
multiple applications, all internal
to the client’s lines of business
(customer interfaces, trading
platforms, internal applications)
• Effectively executing databases
and platform
• Driving efficiencies and
standardization through an
extensive set of proprietary tools
Effective execution of the program
required a human capital partner
capable of:
• Providing highly skilled
resources able to gain access to
warehouse applications, assisting
in manipulating codes and
consolidating over 3,400 internal
applications across multiple
cities within the United States
• Ensuring efficiencies and
standardization driven through a
comprehensive set of tools
The client’s goal was to procure
and enhance end-user identity
and systems access details, loading
the data into a central repository.
The resource team would also
support the overall scope of large
system integration efforts (data
migrations related to the strategic
entitlements and automated access
procurement).
This multi-year access initiative,
driven by the CIO, would allow
the client’s proprietary toolset to
automate and enhance the firm’s
ability to maintain controls over
sensitive client data.
Solution
Realizing the depth of complexity
surrounding the project, Kforce
committed to fully understanding
the project and the desired
business objectives by deploying

face meeting with the CIB Chief
Information Security Officer (CISO)
and the IAM Director Project
Manager.
The working session enabled a clear
understanding of the scope and
scale of the initiative and set the
foundation for the overall success
of the project. Kforce’s customer-
