Key Responsibilities:
· Department of Defense Order Accuracy - Project goal was to implement new IT solutions to
increase order accuracy and forecasts for the Department of Defense's Medical Treatment Facilities,
Cardinal's largest profit margin account group. This was the #1 priority project for the company at
that time.
· IT Co-Sourcing - Project objective was to reduce expense costs by outsourcing IT to an off shore
development team. This was the first attempt at offshoring for the company. Managed the project,
transition and vendor relationship
· Common Communications Platform - Project objective was to implement a common, secure,
reliable data communication platform
Key Achievements:
· Department of Defense Order Accuracy - Responsible for the entire project life cycle. Managed a
matrix team of 12 project employees spanning 4 applications. The project helped retain $800M in
annual sales plus lead to an additional $200M
· IT Co-Sourcing – The initiative was delivered on time and budget. Successfully designed and
implemented a network, hardware and software solution allowing secured access to 10 internal
applications from an offshore location. Launched the outsourcing services framework without
incident
· Common Communications Platform – Project delivered early and under budget. Increased sales
revenue by allowing automated ordering for six major customers, saved $240K in expenses
