• I managed my staffs’ efforts on the RBC Mobile Enablement Strategy project doing the research and
setting up conference calls with analysts as RBC rolled out BYOD capabilities to enable staff to use their
own phones securely.
• Stop payments project BSA for RBC Online Banking personal and business clients to be able to enter stop
payments for cheques and pre-authorized payments online.
• Activation code project BSA for RBC Online Banking personal and business clients to be able to order a
new activation code online.
• Credit Online Loan Application (COLA) project BSA for Online Banking personal and business clients to be
able to apply for personal loans, Royal Credit Lines and Overdrafts online.
• I did all the research for the published book “C Programming in the MVS Environment” written by RBC staff
members Mitra Gopaul and Walter Falby.
• Developed and designed a quick user friendly reference card/guide for IBM BookManager online manuals
application as IBM did not publish one for the application.
• Project managed the implementation from an outdated cataloguing system to Horizon ILS in the Technical
Resource Centre. Managed the 2011 move from Horizon which itself has been updated to SoutronSolo.
• Since becoming manager of the TRC in 2005 I spearheaded the redesign of the TRC website to allow
access to our manuals online along with other self-service features.
• Implemented the transition to Books 24x7 online books for RBC technical staff via the TRC in 2006.

Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), Manager Technical Resource Centre (TRC) (2005 – Present)
One of North America’s leading diversified financial services firms providing banking, wealth management,
insurance, capital markets services on a global basis.
• Assigning staff research assignments, coaching, development and reviews.
• My team provided and filtering customized research to RBC internal clients and achieved a 90%
outstanding or excellent PSI rating.
• Assisted in the management of research provider relationships and budgets and did budgeting and
planning for the TRC.
• I managed the storing/retrieval and dissemination of company owned content, including documents,
contracts, guides, handbooks, policies and other collateral deemed as necessary for technical staff.
• Demonstrated excellent communication and negotiation skills to assist clients in determining their
information needs and the level of research results required.
• Leveraged my relationship management skills to secure repeat business and monitor usage trends and
