Collection of data is the process of gathering and measuring information related to targeted variables in a well-developed system. There are two main types of data: primary data, which is collected directly from primary sources like surveys, interviews, and observations for a specific research project; and secondary data, which was previously collected. Primary data collection methods include interviewing, questionnaires, scheduling, and observation.
2. Collection of data is the process of
collecting and measuring the
information which is related to the
targeted variables in a well developed
system. With the help of data collection
a researcher can be able to find out the
answer of a relevant question and
evaluate the outcomes.
4. Meaning of Primary
Data:
Primary Data is the data
which is collected by a
researcher by using different
methods like Survey,
interview, observation and
experiments. It is collected
with keeping the project in
mind, directly from primary
sources.
Example of primary data:
If you interviewing the
farmers about their crop
production and problems
faced by them in getting good
quality of seeds would be
primary data.
