1. National Education Day -11-11-2013
The department of Pharmacology, PES College of Pharmacy, Bangalore
celebrated National Education Day on 11th
Nov 2013 on the occasion of birth
anniversary of the freedom fighter and eminent educationist Maulana Abul
Kalam Azad.
On this occasion a guest lecture was delivered by Mr. Neelakant Rathod, Drug
Inspector Head office, Drug Control Department, Bangalore on the topic “duties
and responsibilities of drug inspector”. He delved on information about
regulatory affairs, different types of licenses, - viz retail license, wholesale
license, manufacturing license and loan license, GMP and sampling procedures.
It was followed by a brief discussion session during which he answered
questions from students.
2.National Unity Day- 31-10-2014 – National Unity Day was celebrated by
M.Pharm students of Pharmacology Department on 31-10-2014
