Career Objective

Current Position
Research Associate at Mankind Pharma, one of the fastest growing pharmaceutical companies of
India. Job profile includes :-
Designing the synthetic route and executing the multistep organic synthesis of impurities
associated with active pharmaceutical ingredient (API)
Literature search for designing synthetic route using Scifinder.
Characterization of products via their Analytical data (NMR, Mass, HPLC, IR etc.).

Thesis entitled “Design, Facile Synthesis and Development of Novel Molecular Hybrids as
Therapeutic Agents” has been submitted on 15/7/2015 and defended on 19/1/16.

Research Work
Design and synthesis of novel heterocyclic anti-cancer, anti-malarial and anti-Parkinsonian compounds
based on the recently introduced concept of molecular hybridization.
Synthesized library of quinoline-pyrimidine hybrids and piperidone based C5-curcuminoids through
multi-step synthesis.
Designed and synthesized novel organo-catalytic systems for catalyzing various organic
transformations of synthetic importance, including MCRs.
Reactions like Claisen–Schmidt condensation, knoevenagel condensation, sonogashira coupling,
various nucleophilic substitution reactions, reduction etc were performed at different stages of course.
In-silico studies of most active compounds were performed using Schrodinger Maestro software

India since January 2013.
