2. Introduction
• With a varied career that includes time in the FBI and
the police force, Douglas Brennan is currently pursuing
his MD at the University College School of Medicine in
Denver, Colorado. Outside of his professional career
with the FBI and other entities, Douglas Brennan has
competed in several MS 150 charity bicycle races to
support the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
An annual event held in states across the country, Bike
MS is a fundraising cycling series with more than 100
routes. There are many reasons to participate in this
fundraiser, including the challenge of biking 150 miles
and the fun of participating in a social event with other
riders.
3. National Multiple Sclerosis Society
• The most compelling reason to get involved is to the
support the cause. Bikers fundraise and earn money
for every mile they bike while raising awareness and
helping those with MS to live fuller, healthier lives.
The money raised through these events supports
many components of the National Multiple Sclerosis
Society. Nearly 80 percent of every dollar earned
goes directly to improve the lives of those living with
MS through supporting research, education, and
wellness programs. To learn more about Bike MS
