I have known Jamie for about two years and worked closely with him on numerous
health and wellness initiatives confronting students at Bemidji State University.
Jamie has been a valuable contributor to the Bemidji State University, Student
Center for Health and Counseling outreach health education program. His
contributions have been numerous. Jamie served and the president of the peer
education organization at Bemidji State University. Jamie has taken a leadership
role in several social injustice initiatives and programs aimed at reducing high-
risk drinking, educating about sexual responsibility, suicide prevention, and
mental health awareness.
Jamie has excellent leadership and communication skills and genuinely cares
about other people. His caring and honest personality has earned him trust and
respect from his peers.
