Letter of motivation
1. LETTER OF MOTIVATION
Dear Sir/Madam
My Curriculum Vitae that you have in your possession is submitted to you in good
faith as an aid to me to secure employment in your organisation.
I can provide original copies of all of the certificates for the qualifications declared in
this file.
As can be seen in my CV, I am a qualified electrician by trade with a vast amount of
experience in the feed, mining, industrial, retail and domestic industries.
I have completed supervisory courses and have also acted in a supervisory role.
During my career, I have gained experience with regards to customer relations and
general PR, and, as a result I realise that by being an employee of a company or
organisation one also inadvertently assumes the role of such a company/organisation’s
ambassador to the public. This is a role that I take very seriously.
I am known by my peers, superiors and subordinates alike, to be a professional,
knowledgeable, dedicated and reliable self starter who treats all aspects of work -
whether it be technical or interpersonal with a sense of purpose whilst still not
compromising my personal values or the values of my employer.
I am safety conscious and a firm believer in pro-active preventative maintenance and
doing the job right the first time.
I believe that I shall be an asset to your organisation should I secure the vacancy for
which this Curriculum Vitae is submitted. I would encourage the reader to personally
contact those individuals that I have listed as my references to gain their perspective
on my knowledge, skills and value as an electrician.
Please note:
I will be willing to relocate to another town or city should I secure employment in
your organisation. Furthermore, I will be able to start with my duties after a 30 day
notice period should my application be successful.
Please contact me should you have any queries, my contact details are included in my
Curriculum Vitae.
Sincerely,
Donavan Alan Boyd
