Parkersburg, W.V. I did Project Design and Assistance-to-Operations work for the
Butacite* Manufacturing Facilities. Work included design, installation and maintenance
of computerized control systems, variable speed drives, motor control centers, and various
instruments for batch and continuous processes.
1984-1989: Control Systems Engineer; Central Engineering Dept at Washington Works Plant,
Parkersburg, W.V. Work included Project Design and Assistance-to-Operations work for the
Teflon* Manufacturing Facilities (same as above).

Savannah River Plant is a government nuclear facility in Aiken S.C. It was built and
operated by DuPont from 1950 until 1989. As a liaison engineer, I reviewed project work
for the Reactor Department at Savannah River Plant.
1977-1981: Project Engineer; Project Dept. at Savannah River Plant, Aiken, S.C.
Position required project work and control system design to upgrade obsolete control systems
with state-of-the-art equipment.
1975-1977: Design Engineer; Design Dept. at Seaford Nylon Plant, Seaford, De.
Project Design and Assistance-to-Operations work for the Textile Nylon Division. Assigned to the
Expansion Committee that installed a $10 million computerized Yarn Handling System.
Certification:
1993-2003: Certified Radiation Safety Officer by the U.S. Nuclear Radiation Commission. Administered
the Nuclear Safety Program for Butacite* Dept at the Washington Works Plant.
