Senior Vehicle Test Systems Engineer – Lansing Delta Township Assembly Plant
Vehicle Test Systems Engineer since 2005 for the newest vehicle assembly plant in North America, responsible for
all final assembly vehicle programming and test systems, electrical system testing and dynamic drive test rolls.
Responsible also for vehicle wheel alignment systems and headlamp aim process equipment. Also serve as Quality
Engineer for all steering and suspension components and systems, working with suppliers to resolve quality issues.
Engineering Manager, Trim Manufacturing Engineering – Lansing Car Assembly Plant
Responsible for supervising an engineering salary staff and supplier quality hourly team members. Served as primary
contact for all engineering issues at daily plant quality meetings, and worked to ensure the engineering group
continued to strive to support the production team operator.
Manufacturing Planner and Lead Engineer, Chevrolet Malibu Launch – Lansing Car Assembly Plant
Duties included planning the department’s build events for the launch of the Chevrolet Malibu in Lansing Car
Assembly. Major responsibilities also included leading the department’s continuous improvement activities and
supervising hourly Operator Support Center team members. Significant project for our team was to identify and
implement part and process commonization opportunities which ultimately resulted in over 125 part numbers
eliminated and nearly $4 million in annual savings.
Manufacturing Supervisor – Lansing Car Assembly Plant
Managed hourly UAW employees in a progressive team build environment of a vehicle assembly plant. Production
area included the management of automated guided systems for pre-marriage engine and chassis subassembly.
Coordinated improvement projects applying lean production principles to existing process to improve productivity.
Manufacturing Reliability Engineer – Lansing Car Assembly Plant
Responsibilities include providing process and technical support for vehicle production in the areas of chassis and
trim electrical components and systems. Tasks involved engaging with production team members in problem solving
activities, with a focus on first-time quality, continuous improvement, and standardized work. Developed vehicle
electrical test requirements and installed new test equipment required for the launch of new vehicle platforms.
Design Engineer, Vehicle Engineering – Lansing Automotive Division
Responsible for the design of chassis electrical hardware and component specifications for current production and
advanced vehicle programs, including automatic light control sensors, and brake switches.

Design Engineer, Advanced Development Group - Residential Fractional Horsepower Motors
Responsible for new product development for an electric motor manufacturer. Products included brushless DC
motor controls for HVAC and electric vehicle applications, and advanced servo controls for manufacturing
operations. Designed and built the motor controller for 2-time National Champion University of Michigan Solar
Racing Car. Also designed the first power steering pump motor the GM EV1 electric vehicle.
