10. •Application forms are to be submitted at Korean Visa Application Center
(VFS) in New Delhi and Kolkata along with the applicable fees in cash.
•Processing time: 4-5 days.
•All long term visas require the submission of three copies of each
document. They are referred to South Korea for approval and can take
about a month to be processed.
•Applicants can also apply for Express Visa. Minimum processing time for
express visa is 1.5 days to 2 working days from the time of submission.

12. •Plenty of clean, modern and well-signed hwajangsil (public toilets).
•Free of cost, decorated with flowers & artwork, few even have music.
•Always recommended to carry a stash of toilet tissue around, though toilet
papers are available.
•No special vaccination requirements for visiting Korea, however,
recommended vaccination against Hepatitis A & B.
Recommended
• A policy covering theft, loss and medical expenses and compensation for
cancellation or delays in one’s travel, highly recommended.
• In case of theft or loss, obtain a police report straight away-112.

• Take extra care on pedestrian crossings late at night.
• Avoid any confrontations to protests that may
occur.
•One needs a doctor’s prescription to buy most medications, maybe
difficult to find exact medication one uses, so take extra.
• Avoid getting involved with strangers, as illegal drugs are prevalent
in some parts of South Korea.
