Manager Human Resources and Taxation 2006 to 2014
 Responsible for the HR and Payroll functions for the Lufthansa Group Companies in India.
 Planning and Restructuring
 Lobbying, Representation to various authorities in regards to issues of Human Resources and
Personnel matters for the group companies.
 Implementation of in-house payroll.
 Employees Grivieinces
 Industrial Relations, wage negotiations with the employee unions.
 Group Insurance for the employees
 Coordination with Regional and Head office
 Setting up and closure of offices at various locations.
 Labor compliance, Social security
 Employee benefits and bench marking with the Industry standards.
 Interface with Accounts
 Outsourcing of the payroll Lufthansa Group companies in India
 Formulation and execution of Incentives scheme, Appraisals and various employee engagements.
 VSP and VRS schemes.
 Domestic Employee and Expatriate tax compliances.
 Trainings to employees and development plan for the High potential employees.
 Expatriate administration for all related services.
 MIS reports, cost reports, analysis and Budgets
 HR and Personnel policies, Rules of employment for the Indian operation for the employees.
 Responsible for the Cabin Crew HR and personnel policies.
 Formulation of employees committee for workplace harassment and related grievances.

 Represented region related to the topics of HR & Personnel.
 Employees News Letters and e-info document for expatriate moving in India.
 Corporate Finance &Taxes.
 Responsible for the corporate tax compliances (Direct and Indirect taxes) interface with the
consultants and tax advisors.
 Lobbying and representations to the Ministry of Finance and tax offices and Airline consortium.
 Handling of Lufthansa domestic company for accounts and taxes. Due diligence for various projects.
 Coordination in Tax advisory, Planning, advice to business units on turnkey projects, contracts
negotiations, business arrangements, advice and assistancein managing the permanent
establishments, transfer pricing issues and evaluation of the tax risks fro the Group companies.
 Interface with the regional and head office for the tax updates and developments and issues to the
Lufthansa Group companies in India.
 Responsible for accounting, finance and tax compliance of the Indian Private limited company of
Lufthansa in India.
 Due diligence assistanceand financial analysis of operations, interacting with consultants and third
parties.
 Interface with Internal and Statutory Auditors.
 Periodic evaluation of the tax exposures and ramifications and solutions.
Pepsi Foods 1994 to 1997
 Key responsibilities: -
 Accounts and Finance, sales accounting, Plant accountant for Lehar Food Products. Dealing with the C&F
and Stockiest, Inventory management
 Administrative functions at the plant and statutory compliances.
Asian Consolidated Industries 1994 to 1997
 Key responsibilities: -
 Account and Finance, Finalizations of annual accounts, statutory audits and interface with Factory and
Management in Delhi.
