Recruit Sustainment Specialist for the NJ Army National Guard, Military Personnel Service
Corporation
Responsible for a team of new service members to ensure that they are fully prepared
administratively before shipping to basic training.
Works closely with the entire Recruit Sustainment Team to guarantee efficiency and accurate
shipping rate.
Responsible for administrative functions in support of Soldiers in the Recruit Sustainment Program
by their assigned teams for initial Entry Training.
Data entry input based on the Recruit Sustainment Program Duty Task List (Updated Daily,
Weekly, Monthly, Before Drill, and After Drill), Soldier outreach, and pre-ship quality control.
Maintain the National Guard Database and perform daily input to actions relating to Soldiers, new
accessions, assignments, training, and Recruit Sustainment Program site.
Contact newly enlisted soldiers, verified all information on record, coordinate their reception at the
Recruit Sustainment Program, and sponsor them upon arrival.
Contact Soldiers monthly regarding Battle Assembly attendance, pre-shipping preparations, and
other information as required.
Identify soldiers for potential retention issues, and make every effort to mitigate those issues,
including any and all shipping issues. Communicate with Recruit Sustainment Supervisor and
assistant regarding Soldiers issues before they ship.
Inform Soldiers on administrative, medical, education, and other topics as needed.
Administrator for discharge packets for the entire Recruit Sustainment team. Prepare, track and
monitor discharge packets for process. Track discharges on excel log, and send out log to
appropriate staff weekly to ensure current status on pending discharges.
Disposition Soldiers out of National Guard Database after returning to state from basic training.
Responsible for all service members who are entitled to Basic Housing Allowance; to ensure all
paperwork is correct and signed prior to them shipping to basic training.

Account Clerk at Monmouth County Surrogate’s Office
Responsible for the collection of checks and credit card transactions from the public, as well as
2. daily deposits to the bank. Examine and verify that all transactions are accurate and balanced.
Cut checks twice a month and make payments accordingly from all earnings at the Surrogate’s
office.
Records charges, overpayments, and refunds into record book and ensuring bank accounts have
been reconciled. All bank reconciliations are through excel spread sheets.
Review Inventories and Informal accountings for guardianships. Reconcile to prior ones, verify
balances and ensures all interested parties are noticed.
Fully responsible of the minors department, that included over 600 accounts for minors.
Responsible for depositing checks and ensuring proper documentation was submitted for approval
of accounts.
Create court motions and adhere to court proceedings for minor department as well as
guardianships.
Responsible for managing the Annual Report of Guardian program.
Help out in other departments as needed including front desk and records.
Responsible for sending out notices to all guardians each month for accurate turn around to all
inventories, informal accountings and Annual Report of Guardianship.

Proficient in Microsoft word and Excel. Can easily create excel spreadsheets and create formulas
when needed.
