Training and Confidentiality in health care organizations

2. Confidentiality
• It is the protection of personal information.
• The information should always be under
lock and key, and kept between the staff
member and the patient.
• It is also the set of rules or a promise
under the HIPPA regulations that place
restrictions on patient information.

3. Training as a Manager
• Provide a monthly training class to all staff
members on patient personal information.
• Always secure the social security number
only by the last 4 digits.
• Keep password private under secure lock,
and make it hard to figure out.

4. Training Cont:
• Training on confidentiality for employeers
by obeying the HIPPA rules and
regulations.
• Employees need be held responsible for
his or her action to avoid a breach of
confidentiality.
• Do not crowd someone who enter the
hospital, and treat them the same way you
would want to be treated,therefore if you
was in that situation.

5. Conclusion
Celebrities are people and they deserve to have
the upmost respect and privacy just like any
other individual who is in the spotlight or not.
Always keep personal information under lock
and key with a secure access to the individual
personal information. Providing monthly
meetings with allow staff members what not to
do so consequences will not have to take place.
Never write or lay the password down and do
not share passwords with staff members.
