The Eastern Association of College and University Business Officers
(EACUBO) focuses on assisting business officers as they help higher
education institutions excel. EACUBO traces its roots to 1919, when
members of the higher education business officer profession came
together to promote best practices in their field.
3. THE EASTERN ASSOCIATION OF
COLLEGE AND UNIVERSITY
BUSINESS OFFICERS• EACUBO has relied on the leadership of volunteers through its history, and
today comprises 750 higher education institution and related organizations
in the eastern United States. Business officers who join EACUBO benefit
from membership in an organization that remains committed to
professional development, technical proficiency, and innovative problem
solving. NACUBO is the national organization comprises of four regions
across the United States serving over 3000 institutions.
NACUBO is comprised of each of the four regional leadership team and is
served by a Association President and staff support located in Washington,
DC. EACUBO is currently overseen by an 18-member board of directors
headed by a chair and vice chair. The organization, a regional affiliate of the
National Association of College and University Business Officers, also relies
on the input and guidance of several committees.
