YELOW is a selective peer group for young entrepreneurs and business leaders between 20-45. The group aims to foster personal and professional development of its members through biannual meetings, guest speakers, and peer coaching. Members pay $1,200 annually plus a $500 initiation fee to support group activities and social events. Qualified applicants should be entrepreneurs or executives who demonstrate leadership, a vision for growth, and a willingness to help others succeed.

Who We Are
YELOW is a selective peer to peer development and growth group that aims to bring successful
entrepreneurs, business, and thought leaders together to foster personal and professional
development of themselves and others, as well as fulfilling social responsibilities for the members.
Mission and Principles
YELOW is governed by members who stand collectively in alignment around three core principles:

Group Overview
YELOW members meet in person six times per year from 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM followed by a dinner to:
- Discuss our biggest leadership challenges and development opportunities.
- Get support, feedback, and peer coaching; learn how to expand our influence and impact
- Present and learn new, out-of-the-box ideas
- Bring in guests to help us learn about topics of interest; read and discuss relevant literature
- Set personal goals and help others be accountable to their goals
- Consider larger social and economic issues and what we can do together to address them
Subscription and Dues
The cost of YELOW membership is $1,200 annually and $500 initiation. Annual membership costs and
initiation will go towards group facilitation, guest speakers and resources, and social activities. Financial
statements will be open book for all YELOW members.

We’re looking for entrepreneurs, executives or business leaders between 20 and 45 that have a top
leadership role in their organization, big vision, track record of success, interested in your own

2. Allison Depaola is a partner at Floman Depaola, Attorneys & Counselors at Law. Originally from North
Branford, Connecticut, she graduated, Summa Cum Laude, in 2005, from Quinnipiac University
School of Business with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing in 2005. She then attended
Quinnipiac University School of Law, where she co-created and managed the Quinnipiac Guardian Ad
Litem training course and became a certified Guardian Ad Litem. In 2008, she graduated, Cum Laude,
and was admitted to practice in both Connecticut and New York. Allison is an active member of the
American, Connecticut, New York, and New Haven County Bar Associations, and serves on the Board
of Directors for VISTA Endowment Fund for the VISTA Vocational & Life Skills Center, and the Orange
Chamber of Commerce.
Allison was recognized by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in 2015, and also awarded Director of the Year. by the
Orange Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
Bob is the founder and CEO of IMPACT, an agency he formed in 2009 to help people and their
organizations succeed by changing the way they market themselves online. Since its founding,
IMPACT has achieved its status as one of HubSpot's first Platinum Partners in less than 2 years, and
secured its place as one of the top inbound marketing agencies in the country. In 2012, its first year of
being a partner, IMPACT was also awarded HubSpot's Rookie of the Year award and recognized for its
outstanding content.
Bob is a graduate of Central Connecticut State University and was inducted into their School of Business Hall of Honor
in 2014 for entrepreneurial excellence. In the same year, he was also recognized as one of Hartford Business Journal's
40 Under Forty. Beyond being driven to grow IMPACT, Bob strives to be at the forefront of the inbound marketing
movement and loves helping similar agencies execute their growth.
Scott Drozd is the Chief Executive Officer at FCP Euro, one of the most highly recognized brands and
fastest growing eCommerce providers of OEM & Genuine parts for European cars. With only $9,000
initial equity investment Scott bootstrapped the company surpassing $20 Million in annual revenues,
experiencing double digit top line organic growth every year since its inception. FCP was recognized
in both 2011 and 2012 by Inc. Magazine as one of the top 5,000 fastest growing private companies in
the United States.
Scott is a graduate of the University of Connecticut and was recently awarded AIA’s Young Executive
of the Year for 2015.
David C. Tate is a clinical and organizational psychologist and Assistant Clinical Professor in Psychiatry at
Yale University. He is the co-author of Sink or Swim: How Lessons from the Titanic Can Save Your Family
Business, and has been featured as a key-note speaker and lecturer for local, regional, national, and
international audiences. He works with for-profit, nonprofit, and governmental organizations around the
issues of coaching, leadership, conflict resolution, team building, family business governance, strategic
planning, and promoting healthy organizational development.
Dr. Tate served on the advisory board for the University of Connecticut’s Family Business Program and
now coordinates the National Association of Corporate Directors (Connecticut Chapter) Family Business
Governance Roundtable. He is the Chair of the Connecticut Psychological Association’s Psychologically
Healthy Workplace Program and Co-Founder of the Connecticut Consulting Psychology Group. He received his B.S.
from Cornell University and his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Virginia. He completed pre- and
post-doctoral fellowships at Yale University before joining the faculty. He also earned a Certificate in Family Business
Advising from the Family Firm Institute.
