What have you learnt about
technologies from the process
of constructing this product?

2. The transition from iMovie to YouTube via Quicktime
was a simple and efficient way of distributing our
media product.
From this I have learnt a new method of using low-
budget digital technology as a legitimate distributor,
which is free to use and is fully licensed, which adds to
the satisfaction of having ‘Photograph’ available for
international audiences to view, share and enjoy.
3. Blogger.com has been a great tool throughout
the construction of this product.
It’s easy to document our progression from
planning and research to producing the final
result and is simple to navigate through.
Additionally, members of the public and
Blogger community can freely view the work
that is posted, which could lead to blogger
being a marketing device for ‘Photograph’ as
well.

4. This music engineering program was
used to produce the score heard in our
media product.
Garageband, being a brand of Apple, is
greatly compatible with iMovie, which
made it simple to transfer the music over
to be edited into the opening.

5. Arguably one of the most significant digital
technologies used throughout this entire enterprise,
iMovie (paired with a Mac computer) was used in
order to edit footage taken for our media product.
It was quick to learn how to use and its special
features such as transitions and titles helped to
decorate the opening scene to a more professional
standard.

6. Even though iMovie had its fair share of titles, the
possibilities that ley in After Effects are virtually without
any limit.
After Effects was used to develop the title sequences of
‘Legacy Media’ and ‘Legion Pictures’ for the final cut of
our media product and it added a notable hint of overal
professionalism to the opening scene.

7. Prezi: a glamorous and sophisticated-looking presentation which is aesthetically
satisfying by it’s use of animations and transitions.
Slideshare & LinkedIn: this business-focused social network made it possible to
present PowerPoint presentations on Blogger.
Canon D70 DSLR: this is the camera used in the production stage of the film. It’s
impressive quality (in terms of high—resolution visuals and handling
practicality) makes this a wonderfully functional and purposeful piece of
technology.
Bowens/studio lights: these high-quality lights not only added a finesse to our
media product but also meant that we weren’t dependable on natural light or
the electrical lights of any particular room, meaning that we could make the
most of the facilities at our disposable.
