2. โข To begin the research and planning we decided to make idea posters of
different topics we could explore in the "running technology" genre, we
looked into different runs that we could attend and that people attend
and different progressions in the fitness genre. We then looked into who
we could interview and what types of things we wanted to get out of
each interview, when we had all of the interviews booked we started to
go through different questions we could ask then that would fit into their
profession and that would benefit our audience and that would fit in
with the genre. We decided to base each interview on something
different and ask them about specific things to do with their profession
for example in Joe Stringer ( the head of Maths at Weatherhead High
School) we decided to ask him about how he fits time in to do fitness
based activities and what types of things he does with his busy work
schedule, we then looked into the background of running for our voice
over and found statistics from sites all across the internet which link into
the documentary to give the audience more information.
3. What software's did I use?
โข Emaze, Prezzi, Powtoon and Slideshare to upload and create my coursework to
upload to blogger.
โข I used Premiere pro to create the documentary, to do the editing of all footage
and soundtracks.
โข We cut all clips to the desired size based on what we wanted in our documentary (this
is called gatekeeping)
โข I used Premiere Pro to edit the radio trailer clips and soundtrack.
โข We used clips from the documentary and clips recorded solely for the radio trailer
such as โThe Race For Life, Run To The Future, BBC1 Thursdays 8pmโ
โข I finally used Photoshop to create my print advert.
โข We used a black and white main image and white text with blur on the image to put
across our theme more.
