Recommendation Letter
I worked with Daniela Ciolompea from 2006 until 2009 initially as the manager of the Benelux& Alps
Collections team in Bucharest within Hewlett Packard Company while she was the Supervisor for the Order
Management Team. Our collaboration was extremely good, both of our teams being fully focused on dispute
resolution and dispute avoidance. Her excellent command of English, her creative thinking, strong
communication and negotiation skills led to great collaboration between our teams but also to faster
solutions provided to our customers. We worked together towards a regular Governance Process, we agreed
on SLAs between our teams and a clear escalation path in case the process didn’t work. Within a few months,
the results were already visible.
Daniela was highly appreciated by the Credit and Collections team and me from the very beginning
due to her dedication, her ability to work under pressure and her result oriented attitude. She has a strong
sense of initiative that often helped the teams (both Credit and Collections and Order Management) to find
solutions to complex problems and put them within the shortest time possible. Additionally she was a great
team player being highly involved in social activities at site level. We had the opportunity to work together on
some volunteering events and social events in both Bucharest and Barcelona former HP sites.
I always appreciated Daniela’s constant desire to enhance her knowledge and to develop her skills in
areas outside of her comfort zone but also in the people management field. She holds strong prioritization
skills, impact-analysis skills, exceptional problem solving and excellent escalation skills.
I strongly recommend Daniela and I am convinced that she will live up to any expectations on her
future roles or positions.
