I've had the pleasure of working closely with Darlene Brouse since July 2012, when I took over running
the Datawise division for Measured Progress. Our division provides the day to day operational
services and support for our products.
It is very easy working with Darlene because she is proactive about asking questions if information
does not make sense or additional clarification is needed. She is analytical, detail oriented and is
open to suggestions. She does not hesitate to ask for help when needed. She works collaboratively
with others and is always more than willing-to help others out. She enthusiastically takes on new
projects and she realizes that being flexible is one of her greatest assets. She is clear on the "big
picture" and realistically weighs and evaluates information. Her confidence has really blossomed
which has only increased her productivity and contributions to Measured Progress.
In particular, I am very pleased with how she has been working with the project management
aspect of the DATAWISE platform development. She has taken on additional responsibilities and
has excelled in this role in coordinating the development team, working with me on creating user
stories and prioritizing features, creating project plans, getting issues resolved. She has done a
great job with taking the responsibility for the coordination and review of the Datawise product
documentation.
The thoroughness of Darlene's work is outstanding and I can always count on her for special
projects such as competitor product analysis, evaluating and organizing information. Another project
that Darlene worked on this year was the implementation of the Science Pilot testing. The Product
Manager responsible for the project commended her performance with words like "proactive", "she
asked good questions", and "she had good suggestions". Standout areas on her performance
review included her excellent communication skills, timely project updates, and her contribution in
providing new ideas and suggestions.
She is often used by other teams within the organization to help them out during peaks of increased
workload. The team appreciates her flexibility and that she can be thrown into a project and figure
things out. Yet, she also excels at tasks that are clearly defined and structured that she can move
through quickly. She will easily fit in within any organizational culture with her cheerful, positive and
friendly nature.
Insummary, I wholeheartedly give my endorsement of Darlene'sskills.
