RESOLUTION IMPLEMENTING THE EACH RIGHTS OF CHILDREN
(RIGHT TO SURVIVAL, RIGHT TO DEVELOPMENT, RIGHT TO
PROTECTION AND RIGHT TO PARTICIPATION)
WHEREAS, the United Nations Convention in the Rights of the
Child, which the Philippines signed and ratified, recognizes that
all children have the right to survival, development, protection,
and participation;
WHEREAS, the Philippine Constitution provides that “ the State
shall defend the right of the children to assistance, including
proper care and nutrition, and special protection from all forms
of neglect, abuse, cruelty, exploitation and other conditions
prejudicial to their development;
WHEREAS, it is essential to institutionalize mechanisms that will
strengthen the capacity of different sectors to provide relevant
and significant programs and policies for the welfare of
children;
WHEREAS, the barangay is the best political unit of the State
that serves as the primary planning and implementing unit of
government policies, plans, programs, projects and activities in
the community;
WHEREAS, enhancing the functionality of the barangay by
acknowledging their performance and accomplishment will help
ensure the promotion of the welfare of our children and lead
Barangay 06 towards being Child-friendly barangay;
WHEREAS, the objective of this resolution is to implement the
following :
a. Curfew Hours for minors (Local Government Unit of
Mamburao, mandating the Strict Implementation of
curfew hours for minors from 10:00 in the evening;
b. Pursue all Pregnant women to undergo a regular pre-
natal check-up for a healthy pregnancy

c. Promoting “Mother and Child Immunization Program”
which refers to preventive child care and health services
which include, among others, the monitoring and
registration of births and the completion of the
immunization series for prevention of tuberculosis,
diphtheria, pertussis, neonatal tetanus, measles,
poliomyelitis, hepatitis B and other diseases for which
vaccines have been developed for administration to
children up to five years old;
d. Establishment of post notices and information at entry or
front Desk regarding Child Protection that serve as
deterrents to committing child trafficking , prostitutions
and other sexual abuses
e. Promoting and Supporting Day Care Program and other
Education Program, Education is the right of every child.
Education should help children develop their spiritually,
talents, and abilities. It should also teach team to respect
themselves, other people and nature.
WHEREAS, it refers to organizing and strengthening BCPC to
respond to all relevant and urgent issues and concerns of
children in the barangay that refers to the organization of BCPC,
conduct BCPC quarterly meetings and conduct capacity-
building activities
NOW THEREFORE: on motion of Hon. Marilag M. Bondad,
Barangay Kagawad Committee on Women and Family, duly
seconded by the rest of the body, the each rights of children (right
to survival, right to development, right to protection and right to
participation) has been approved by the body, BE IT.
RESOLVED FURTHER, the copies of this resolution shall
furnished to the other concerned for their information
appropriate action
