The Sangguniang Barangay of Barangay 06, Mamburao, Occidental Mindoro passed Resolution No. 05 during their January 15, 2019 meeting. The resolution allocates 5% of the barangay's estimated revenue for 2019 to their Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Program as mandated by law. Of the P89,505.20 allocated to DRRM, 70% (P62,653.64) will fund disaster preparedness, prevention, mitigation, response and rehabilitation efforts while the remaining 30% (P26,851.20) will purchase relief goods. RESOLUTION UTILIZING 5% OF BARANGAY FUND FOR
THE DISASTER RISK REDUCTION AND MANAGEMENT
PROGRAM ( OF BARANGAY 06, MAMBURAO,
OCCIDENTAL MINDORO FOR F.Y. 2019.
WHEREAS: it has been agreed by the Sangguniang Barangay
Members of this Barangay during the session on dated
January 15, 2019.
WHEREAS: R.A 10121, mandated local governments to set
aside 5% of their estimated revenue for regular sources for
their DRRM programs.
WHEREAS; Barangay 06 funded 5% for DRRM with a total of
P89, 505.200 which is 70% is amounting to P62, 653.640 for
disaster preparedness, prevention and mitigation response,
rehabilitation and recovery while 30% remaining amounting
to P26, 851.200 is for purchase of relief goods.
WHEREAS: DRRM fund is a big help to protect and save
every individuals lives in times of calamity.
NOW THEREFORE: on motion of Hon. Wilfred C. Alastre
duly seconded by Hon. Robert E. Austria and the rest of the
body, the Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management
Fund has been utilized and approved by the body, BE IT.
RESOLVED, it is hereby resolved, to furnish the Office of the
Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management
(MDRRMO) the copies of the resolution and all concerned for
their information and guidance
