Some presentations are a disaster
Presentation skills are essential for business or personal success.
Your presentation belongs to your business’ brand - potential
clients have to recognize or remember you.
One major challenge is being too nervous to deliver it, another is
not knowing how to present in general.
The reality is that while any one of “us” is probably quite
experienced in terms of presentations, there is always room for
improvement - therefore we need to practice.
Five Tips to improve your presentation skills
1. Use different tones in your voice, use images, use pictures and
videos - experiment with different forms of presenting - develop
your own style, be different.
2. Turn nerves into positive energy - use the moment, because it
gives you the power to concentrate and to perform.
3. Encourage your audience to participate - nothing else is more
boring than a “one-direction-presentation”, people quickly lose
interest.
4. Use Powerpoint to show nice photos - work with less text and
animation and use a clear structure. You have to be the “centre of
interest”.
5. Avoid reading slides while giving presentation, it can distract
audience attention from your speech.
