Job Description:
Responsible for Frequent Inspection, Reporting and Certification of Lifting
Equipment at onshore facilities.
Responsible for Periodic Inspection, Reporting and Certification of Lifting
Equipment at onshore and offshore facilities.
Inspection, load testing and Certification of Overhead Traveling Cranes,
Pedestal Cranes, Air Hoist, Manual Chain Hoist, Runway Beams at onshore
and offshore facilities.
Inspection and certification of lifting gear and lifting equipment in compliance
with the statutory requirements
4. Carrying out lifting Equipment survey at onshore and offshore including non-
destructive testing.
Ensure adherence to established procedures in place for maintaining the
integrity of lifting equipment
Carry out pre-use checks of lifting equipment prior to use, to ensure there are
no obvious visual defects.
Monitoring, analyzing and making recommendations for equipment
improvement to Management.
Ensure adherence to all HSE policies at all times and assist in OIMS

Pre-Mobilization Inspections of Crane, and other Lifting Equipment.
Ensure strict compliance of activities with Lifting Operations and Lifting
Equipment
Regulations 1998 (LOLER) and other statutory regulations/ standards
Ensure implementation of lifting activities meets Company Lifting Equipment
Control and Operation Procedures (LECOP) requirement.
Preparing the permit to work and getting it approved by Designated Person
In charge of Lifting.
Reports any incident as per Company and Project rules.
Participates in Service Hazard Analyses and Attend safety toolbox
meetings on a daily basis with contractors' work teams.
Create work procedures; assess contractors' personnel and equipment for
Suitability for the work.
Implementation of Company in-house Lifting Standards / Code of Practices &
procedures at all sites as part of Company. LMS (Lifting Management
Strategy) document and other approved Standards.
Assuring all critical lifting activities have a plan, are approved prior to work
commencement and necessary documentation (checklist, risk assessments)
are in place as per the LMS.
Planning and execution of inspection, testing and certification of various
Lifting equipment, Material handling equipment, in line with BS, ASME, API,

Operated Overhead travelling Crane, Slewing Jib Cranes and Davits.
Verification/Thorough Examination of Lifting Gears such as Wire rope sling,
