The office of Veteran and Military affairs is the direct link from veterans in
their school to the Veterans Administration Regional Office In Buffalo. The
office provides services and support for Veteran Students, such as Counseling
for Financial, vocational and educational needs. Provides various forms of
information for veterans in reference to work study and other educational
support systems service members are eligible for.

I. Complete The Suny Broome Application
II. Recommended to File FAFSA for financial aid in school
III. Apply for your veterans education benefits through the online
application
IV. Complete a SUNY Broome Educational Benefits Request Form and
submit the Certificate of Eligibility Letter

Post 9/11 GI Bill (Provides up to 36 Months of educational benefits such as
the Yellow Ribbon Program)
Montgomery GI Bill- Active Duty ( 2 years + active duty and provides
financial assistance and pay programs).
Montgomery GI Bill- Selected Reserve ( 6+ Year Reserve Commitment and
offers financial assistance and pay programs.
