Awarded MP position at the culmination of 12-week basic training and an additional 12 weeks of
intensive, specialized MP training. From there served as a Military Police officer protecting lives
and property, patrolling military base and preserving law and order at Camp Foster USMC Base in
Okinawa, Japan. Was then inducted into Okinawa’s Elite Special Reaction Team (SRT) where we
conducted vigorous SWAT training operations. After being stationed in Camp Lejeune, North
2. Carolina supported battlefield operations, provided convoy security, and trained the Afghan Police
Force during overseas assignment in Afghanistan (Operation Enduring Freedom). Then served as a
Squad Leader training Junior Marines to be efficient in combat operations. Was assigned as NCO in
charge of the MP Armory until discharged from the Marine Corps in 07/12. Began the Bachelor of
Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) Finance and Financial Management degree program immediately
following military discharge. Currently finishing the University of Phoenix B.A.Sc. degree program
and training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu on a regular basis. Currently working part time in the restaurant
industry as a Financial Manager and Cook.
