The story isabout 12 menthat are jurorsina court case.Theyare tryingto review tosee if thisboy
that has seeminglykilledhisfather,theyneedtogoto the jurorsroom where theycannotleave until
theyhave all decidedif he isnotguiltyor guiltybutthere wasone personwhichprotestedthathe is
not guilty.He showedall thisgoodbackedupevidencethathe maynot be guiltywhichinthe end
wheneveryone votedguiltyexcepthiminthe beginningendedup votingnotguiltywithhim.
So thismovie there istwothattheymade a more modernone made in1997 and the olderone in
1957, there is quite alot of differenceseventhoughtheyare the same movie theyhave of course
made it lookandfeel different.There isalotof different shotangles butalsosimilarsuchas their
eye level shotstheyhave the cameraatthe level of the characterseyes
Andthere are shotstypeswhichare different,likeinthe new one there is lessclose upstotheir
faces,butthere isstill lotsof close up justmore inthe oldone.Theyuse close upsbecause they

conditions theyare wearingthe blazerstill, inthe new one theyare dressedmore casual clothes
because it’sjustnormal todressin a t-shirtandjeans.
The settingisina roomwitha simple layouttheyhave atoiletandacoat rack the roomsin the old
and the newone are the same the windowsare onthe same side even
the toiletisinthe same position,theybothhave afan
and the same table placing.The weatherinbothof the
filmsit’sthe hottestdayof the year theyare hot and

it earliertheyhave ashtraysinthe middle of the table because itwasathingback thenin thatera
that youcan justsmoke anywhere anditwasnormal butin the new one theyhave cups inthe
middle of the table because lateronpeopleknew thatsmokingwasneveractuallygoodsoitwould
be rude to just smoke infrontof people thatdon’twantto inhale the chemicals.

4. Nowwhat I else Inoticedishowmuchthe new one triedtoreplicate the oldone theyhadevengot
the room and to the finestdetailsasyousee theyhave the knife whichwasthe murderweapon
they,hadgot a switchblade thatwasto the closettheycould getwithdetailsof the original.
The lightinginthe firstone ishighkeybut youcan’t reallytell because it’sinblackandwhite butyou
can see itsbrighton theirface but notmuch shadows,inthe new one itslow-keyyoucansee a lota
shade inthe room it’shard to see the people inthe backstandinginitbut theyhave the mainlights
inthe middle onthe ceilingabove the table.
