Gabriadze viewedbythe eyesof acomputerscreen.Sofar it’sbeengivenmixedreviewswithsome
sayingthat it’sgoodsome that itwas terrible.
But, nowhere comesthe funpart what didI thinkaboutit.To start the begin of the movie was
needlesstosaycringe worthywithan acwcord openingscene followedby ternedasly terrible teen
humouryou knowtype of unfunnychildishjestersthatare alwaystypical forteenhorrors.Andthen
to make mattersworse twocharacters whichwere meanttobe friendsbythe waystarted
screamingat eachotherfor no reasonthanto show that thisgroup of teens hadtheirownpersonal
problems.Butyetall of thiswhichmade me hate the first30 to 40 minutesof the movie helda
certoncharm as the movie wenton.I thinkthat thisgivesita more human feelingwhichseparates
it forthe more cornyclassicsof horror moviesfromthe pastFridaythe 13th, nightmare onHelm
Streetandthe hook. inmovieslike themIalwaysfoundmyself slavishlyscreamingatthe screen
sayingwhyare these characterssostupid.Butin this the characters seemtobe normal people each
withtheirownproblemswiththingsthat achealy affectsteensatthatage . Aswell asshowing
somethingthathasneverbefore seeninahorrormovie ourprotagonist achaly callingforhelp.
Finallyaftersomanyyearsof seeingseriallystupidecharacterstryingtodeal withthe killerontheir
own,these don’tdothat theyknowthisproblemisoutof there league andtheyaskedforhelp
Nextactorsthe whole castof the filmwasonly11 action rolesthisissurprisinglysmall fora
productionof thisstandardand considering4of themonlyaspire inorderto say one line .The actors
startinginthe unfriendedare far fromA classnone of themhave hadany rolesintop line
productions.but still theywere surprisinglygood.Theyseemednatural like anormal personrather
than an actor .Thisiswhat made me focus onthe movie ratherthanbeingstatedwithreality.
The foundfootage style didwell withremovingme frommydaily life. The factthatit isbeingshot
froma computerscreenmakesusor at leastme feel like I’m acherly apartof the film.The waythat
it’sbeenputtogetherviadigital effectsmakesit seemasif itwasall done Inone continuesshotand
not multipletakesthismade itseemasthouit was real, like Iwas archlyviewingareal skype call
.One thingthat I am reallyfondof isthe fact that isusesbothof the sencises withearsandeyes
makingreada listenall atthe same time thismakesyoufocuson the movie more thanyouusually
would.
In mypersonal feelingUnfriendedhadsome strongpointsthe actingandstyle But italsohas a lot of
weekpoints.It’snotthe type of movie that can be repeatednumeralstimesbutforyourfirstview
itsgood. Is it the bestmovie going? No. Isita movie worthwatching?Yes defiantly. Overall Iwould
give itan accsatable grade of 7.5 out of 10
