Us Girls is a groundbreaking
initiative providing sport and
fitness opportunities to young
women aged 16–25 living in
deprived areas across England.
The programme is delivered by a
partnership of organisations,
funded by Sport England and led
by StreetGames. The client had a
wealth of written information,
referred to as a series of How
to... guides, that had been
collated and shaped as a result
of the learning from the first year
of the programme.

The Solution
Designed to help project
managers and coordinators,
coaches, instructors and
leaders to deliver more
successful women’s and girls’
projects, these bite-sized pieces
of learning needed to work on a
number of levels.
Our design team worked in
partnership with the client to
create an appropriate and
visually arresting colour palette,
before embarking on a project
to create a series of sporting
silhouette images that would
bring each of the 13 guides
to life.
