MY STUDENTS PROFILE
PERSONALITY
Students are kind, they are happy with the school and their teachers too, they respect their
teachers, they are serious at the hour to take the class and most of them have the support in
their houses.
LANGUAGE LEVEL
Students at Dimitri Mendeleiev school count with teachers who can provide them trust, that
is a catholic school and students are very receptive, currently, they are having an important
training process, according to the video, in my opinion, they have a A1 level because they
are still learning the English grammar which is the necessary item to start getting a better
language level according to the European framework, that school count with students and
parents involved in the process, that´s why the school has improved a lot, teachers continue
giving values and rules, for example the know that if one of them want to speak, he/she must
raise his/her hand, they respect themselves and teachers too, finally, they are always
motivated for didactic classes and as you can see, the class was very nice because they had
an important participation and we are looking for that, the idea is that teacher must achieve
that students develop the class.
As I said beginning this report, this is a catholic school and Dimitri Mendeleiev has 4
backbones which are: English, Leadership, News plenary, Silent reading, on the other hand,
this school looks for culture, in each term, they travel to important events in other cities, such
as: Gold museum, Boyacá bridge, book fair, theaters, among others, this school has 2 phrases,
the institutional is: Educating open minds to form leader and global citizens, and in this year
the phrase is: to do the maximum possible and not the minimum necessary “Escuela
Albania”
DIMITRI MENDELEIEV SCHOOL
In my opinion Dimitri Mendeleiev school ruled the National English Teaching Policies
because their primary and secondary teachers count with the required English level to teach,
in that school there is not 11th
grade, that´s why I cannot say that the students finish their
training process with B1 level, but it is important let you know that these grades are approved,
next year the school will have students 11th
.
In conclusion, this collected was very interesting for me because I learned new things during
my research, it is important to see how students can develop amazing things when they are
motivated, English should be their favorite subject, that´s why I say Learn English playing
and play learning English “Ciro Sosa”
