I am an enthusiastic Engineer who enjoys his work and is always willing to
gain from further experience and learn new skills. Working fundamentally in
a teamwork environment, I am also a self‐motivated individual who readily
accepts responsibility.
I have a solid knowledge base in Marine Engineering and have built on this to develop deeper
understanding in specific areas of Technical Support to bolster the high level of service rightly
expected by our customers
I am currently enjoying my 10th year in Technical Support Engineer role in the Marine Lubricants field.

ensuring all stores are procured prior to maintenance periods. Management of Duty Engineering

04/01/01 ‐ 20/03/01 Third Officer Engineering. Primarily tasked with Critical Alarm testing and defect
rectification of ship monitoring systems. On completion I assumed responsibility of all Heath and
Safety routines and acted as Officers Safety Representative.
24/01/00 ‐ 25/04/00 Third Officer Engineering responsible for all fuel and lubricating oil purification
systems, compressed air and pumping systems. I also assumed responsibility as Weapons
Maintenance Officer.
20/12/99 ‐ 13/01/01 Third Officer Engineering. Although only a short appointment as cover I was put
in charge of rectifying defects on the 'Valmarine' Integrated Control and Monitoring system.
Understudy to the Refrigeration Engineer with regards to maintenance and performance evaluation
of provision and air conditioning system.
04/03/99 ‐ 07/07/99 Overside Services Engineer. Focal point for surface and subsea vessels in
supplying all essential services during turn around. Maintenance of all overside equipment including
hydraulic cranes, high and low pressure air and generation of de‐mineralized water. Finally, acted as
Weapons Maintenance Officer.
17/07/98 ‐ 08/10/98 Third/Second Officer Engineering in charge of steam and fresh water
generation plant. Promoted to temporary acting Second Officer with overall responsibility for
vessels Main Engines, with associated writing of defect packages and spare gear procurement..
