TECHNICAL MANAGER – CONTINUING AIRWORTHINESS MANAGER
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• To ensure the continued airworthiness of aircraft.
• To ensure that the aircraft are maintained in accordance with the relevant
orders,regulations and with other requirements of the Civil Aviation Authorities.
• To liaise with the EASA / Turkish DGCA, manufacturers and contractors on all
aspects of Airworthiness and Maintenance.
• To ensure that the resources for maintaining the aircraft fleet are adequate,
having consideration for the number of aircraft involved and the level of
maintenance relating to the Korfez Aviation operation, in terms of Staff,
Facilities, Equipment, Technical Stores and Personnel training.
• To ensure that all maintenance records are kept in accordance with the EASA
requirements and manifacturer AMM.
• Co-ordination with the Flight Operations Department concerning the scheduling
of aircraft into maintenance.
• To ensure that the employees are familiar with the Quality Policy and contents
of the AMM as well as EASA / SHY 145 requirements and approved company
instructions.
• To get approval of the Maintenance system including Technical Log,
maintenance contracts, aircraft maintenance program.
• To ensure that any corrective actions requested by an audit report issued by
Quality Department are auctioned within the period specified.
• To ensure pre-flight inspections has been accomplished.
• All defect rectifications of maintenance has been performed compliance with
approved standart.
• To perform analysis of the effectiveness of the maintenance program,
• To make sure accomplishment of AD’s.
• To make sure accomplishment of modification to an approved standard + non –
mandatory modification embodiment Policy.
• To enable the Authority to accept the number and qualifications of persons, an
operator should make an analysis and establish the number of man/hours and
the qualifications needed to perform the tasks.
• To prepare and conduct reliability programs.
• To keep in proper conditions all EU/SHY OPS Part M relevant maintenance
records.
• To transfer maintenance records to the next operators or authority when
necessary in accordance with EU/SHY OPS Part M.
• Submit to the Authority all necessary data and make necessary arrangements
for the renewal of the Certificate of Airworthiness for the aircraft in Korfez
Aviation fleet.
• Manage and conduct all necessary inspections and study on the Aircraft and its
documentation for an aircraft to be introduced to the Körfez Aviation fleet,
to be sold or redelivered to the another party.
