The Plant Operator position is responsible for operating conveying and all related equipment.
This position will be based out of the Pennsy North, Dorrance location.

Summary
The “Plant Operator” position is responsible for operating conveying and all related equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies, rules and regulations of OSHA/MSHA
and Pennsy Supply, Inc, of the MIDA group.
Conduct daily safety assignments (work area inspections, pre-shifts, TRACK, JSA’s, etc)
Start crushing, screening, conveying and all related equipment
Daily safety check at the plant.
Ensure proper size and quality of the product.
Maximize production of the product.
Fill in as needed at any position in the quarry or asphalt operation.
Communicate maintenance needs on a daily basis; turn in maintenance requests daily – fill out work orders for
maintenance required.
Keep plant area neat and organized.
Check oil levels and grease all equipment on the plant as required. Complete daily and weekly checklists.
Verify all equipment is functioning properly.
Maintain crusher settings.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience
High school Diploma or equivalent
Previous experience helpful but not required
Must pass a drug screen and criminal background check
Computer experience helpful

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be occasionally exposed to fumes or
airborne particles
The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places;
outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock, burn, explosives and vibration
The noise level in some areas of the work environment is typically loud
Shift: Dayshift, Monday-Friday. Must be able to work overtime, nights, and weekends as operationally necessary.
